I made this for my daughters 4th birthday. I used the rice krispy treat recipe on the cereal box, used a regular round cake pan. The first layer was the actual size of the pan, the second and third were just cut smaller, used a cookie cutter for the heart shapes. Red Twizzlers, the coloring inside the hearts was melted colored marshmallows. The ball on top, just a rounded rice krispy treat, dipped in melted chocolate and sprinkles, stood up with a popsicle stick. I drizzled the cake with melted/colored marshmallows and powdered sugar, decorated with Trix cereal, Starburst candies, and chocolate morsels.
