Dillon's ship
I made this ship for my 8 year olds party and the kids loved it! I started out with a 9x13 cake any flavor you want, and cut it in half and stacked them with a thin layer of icing in the middle to hold them together. Next I cut out a boat shape and with scraps I put a long strip on back of the cake next I used dark cho. icing and covered whole boat and used a fork to make wood planks across boat. I used oreo cookie sticks for sides of the boat and rolo's on side for cannons and whoopers on top for cannon balls.
The sails are made with cooking scewers and white computer paper with stickers on them.I then had the ship sitting on a board with ble clear wrap and gold fish under it so it looked like fish swimming. the Island was made by puting a blob of icing down and covering it with cake crumbs. Kids loved it and was easy to make cost was only $10 for all!
