Winnie the Pooh & friends birthday cake
I used a spring board pan with 2 cake mixes.Trimmed the top of the cake to make it flat which became the bottom so I had no crumbs in the icing. I spread a layer of white icing on top for a base coating then used tubes of icing gel with decorating tips to do the grass.
I used a pencil tip, and the flat tip for ribbing to make the blanket and again with the pencil tip for the blanket stripes and fringes. The rest of the ornamental decorations on top I bought at the Dollarama.
The bumble bees on the side are yellow jelly beans that I striped with black icing gel. The fudge icing I smeared on with a butter knife in a up and down motion to make it look like a log.
The birthday cake in the middle of the cake is a candle also bought at the Dollarama store..
