This is a fairly simple cake to make. I made this for my nephew's first birthday. For this cake, i made to 2 poundcakes and stood them up vertically. I held them together with icing and toothpicks. I used fondant to cover the cake. The popcorn is also made with fondant. I used buttercup coloring for part of the fondant and mixed white fondant with it to give it a streaked look. To make it look real, I rolled fondant into balls of various sizes and took a toothpick and drew a "x" in the middle of each one.
