Prehistoric Castle Cake

Ever hear of two nineteen year old guys getting bored and making an intricate cake for no reason but to cure said boredom? We hadn’t either, but we’re odd ones. We noticed there were no badass looking castle-themed cakes on this website, so we took it upon ourselves to fill the niche with our black castle, complete with dinosaurs and snakes and evil.

We had to mix several different batches of icing, each with different consistencies, colours and flavours. We used black food colouring for the castle, which looked awesome, and cocoa powder for a realistic dirt path leading to the front of the castle. Unfortunately we ran short on icing towards the end, and had to skimp on the castle walls due to poor preparation. Still, seeing the pterodactyl perched on the finished product made the whole thing worthwhile.

We still haven’t gotten around to eating it. It would almost feel like murder
