Princess Castle Cake
For this princess castle cake I made three strawberry cakes the night before and froze them. This made it so much easier to move, cut, and ice. I used two 13x9 cakes for the base and one 13x9 cake I cut into four pieces for the tower. Strawberry icing was used and white icing for the door.
I used eight regular pink ice cream cones and four pointed ice cream cones using white icing as glue. At first it was kind of hard to get the cones to look level but I cut them so they would fit along the corners of the tower. I also used mini marshmallows along the top. This cake was for all three of my girls so I took a 3 x 5 black and white photo of them and put it in a pink metal frame for the topper.
Also I used sparkler cake candles. It was great. The girls loved the pink castle cake and so didn't all our guest!
