Puppy dog cake

My daughter wanted a puppy dog cake for her 5th Birthday, but due to time restraints I didn't have time to bake enough cakes needed to create a puppy cake, so we decided to bake a standard round cake and put a puppy on top. The puppy is made from mini muffins, one for the head and one for the body. Both the cake and the muffins were covered with white fondant and decorated with chocolate fondant. The head and body of the puppy once shapedas desired, were glued together with edible glue. Ears, tail, legs etc were moulded from either white or chocolate Fondant and glued on once firm. I coloured the white fondant with pink paste coluring to create the pale pink dots and base ribbon.
