Quick Fondant Birthday Cake
I made this cake in an hour for a friend's birthday.
I just made two 9 inch round cakes, filled and frosted with a crumb coat.
Applied the fondant. Colored fondant yellow & blue...cut them into circles. Cut long strips for the "ribbon" and placed them on. The flower in the center is just a cheap flower I got from the craft store I stuck it in the center and called it a day!
Playing with the color scheme and shapes and adding REAL edible flowers this cake would be lovely.
A real QUICK cake when you're in a pinch!
