 How to achieve balck fondant

I used the marshmellow fondant recipe. Instead of making it white & then kneading the color in I colored the marshmallow mixture before adding the powdered sugar. Thanks :)

This is a rocking cake. I cant ever seem to get
a dark black when coloring my fondant. How did you achieve the black color?
