Snake Cake

My son Jacob asked me for a snake and reptile party and asked if he could have a snake cake. I thought the bundt cakes would be good for the shape and then someone suggested looking on the internet for ideas. That was when I found this website.

I started with 3 bundt cakes that I made a couple days before and froze. I made 2 chocalate and 1 vanilla so I could rotate flavors. I just used chocalate buttercream icing and vanilla icing also. I then cut the cakes in quarters and connected with icing.

Then I iced the cake like a regular cake and went back over it with star tip #26. I just made the diamond shapes on top to make like a rattlesnake and used twizzler for the tongue. The head I just cut into shape and used icing on lucky charms to make fangs.

It really was a huge hit with my son and guests. I was very pleased with how it came out.
