This cake was made for my son's birthday party, and I wanted something easy to serve. I arranged cupcakes in an oval shape for the Spiderman face. I iced with a thick layer of red frosting. I melted chocolate chips for the detail eyes and lines. Then I filled in the eyes with white and added the #5. This was a hit. (I got the design idea from his birthday party plates).
