Spongbob Pineapple Under the Sea

I got the idea for this cake from another cake on this site. I used fondant to cover the 2 layers of cake separately. I found that it was easier than trying to apply one big sheet of fondant to cover the whole cake at once. This was my very first time using fondant and it was so much easier than I thought it would be. I made the windows, door and chimney out of fondant, too. I found the gummy Krabby Patties at the grocery store, individually wrapped sold in a big bag. I ordered the figures from a cake decorating supply company. I hollowed out the pineapple before putting it on top of the cake to make it lighter and waited until just a few minutes before the party to put it on the cake. I was afraid that the moisture inside the pinepple would ruin the fondant if left there too far ahead of time.
