Awesome Homemade Tank Cake with Oreo Wheels

I baked a half sheet cake, cut it in half and filled the two sides. from there, i cut the filled piece in half. one half i used for the bottom piece. the other side i used three quarters of for the second layer of the tank. i used a large round cutter to cut out the final layer of the tank. i iced each layer, separately, in chocolate icing, then stacked them. then i used green spray on food color to create an easy camo print. oreo wheels, brown fondant track, black liquorish for treads and various embellishments. the fondant track was a bit tricky, but after the first one, it was easy. just roll it out in long thin strips. lay the strips down next to the tank. place your oreo wheels on top and wrap it around. use scissors to trim the fondant, if needed. be sure to place a piece of liquorish tread over the seam. use reserved chocolate icing for trim and “rivets”. the cannon is one of those cookie stick things.
