Digger Cake!
For my son's 2nd birthday, I knew we just HAD to do a "digger" cake for him as he LOVES them. I had the hardest time trying to find toy diggers, but the rest was easy. I made a sheet cake and then a small square one to stack on top. I made chocolate icing and spread it over the top except for one part where I had torn the cake "hill" apart (as inspired by someone on this site). I used oreo sippers for the "pipes", rock candy jelly beans for rocks, graham crumbs for sand etc.
He LOVED it! So glad I tried it as I never have done anything like this before. Thanks for all the inspiration on this site!
