The Very Hungry Cooperpillar Cale

Cooper-pillar cupcake
My son's name is Cooper and he eats everything in sight so this theme was very fitting. Cooper-pillar rolled right off the tongue. This is about 22 cupcakes put together iced individually. The head was made in a measuring cup so that it would be a little bit larger then the other cupcakes. The eyes on the head were made with yellow icing and a green gumball in the middle. The icing is Betty Crocker cream cheese icing with food coloring. You need light green,dark green, red, yellow and a tiny bit of blue for the antenas. Every four cupcakes were in a diffrent green. The light gren cupcakes have hair made with dark green icing. There is so many ways to make a caterpillar. ANYONE can make this cake!! It was supper easy but a little time consuming. My best friend came to my house and made this for me. So cute and homemade. The bottom is yellow icing with gumballs on top. The sun is made out of the corner of a square cake covered in icing with icing drawn on the foil.
