Wall-e cake for Dyl-E
First off - I'll start by saying I've never seen the cartoon, nothing more than the commercials on TV. ha ha
My 7 y/o nephew Dylan (but we all call him Dyllie) asked for a chocolate Wall-e cake for his birthday in March '09, he didn't ask for anything further.
I used 2 boxed chocolate cake mixes & the 12" Wilton cake pan. I made homemade chocolate buttercream frosting. I got some candy decorations: white & yellow stars and orange half moons. I put mini Reese's candies around the bottom edge too. And I pipped some yellow stars around the cake.
I bought the Wall-e candy decorations from a cake store, and also got the stand-up Wall-e candle - which wasn't on yet, since I had to put the top on the cake carrier.
