Wolf Cake

I made this Wolf cake for the end of the year party for Wolf Cub Scouts. I used the Wilton animal crackers pan and cut the ears off then moved the higher on top of the head and trimmed them into points. I used a cupcake for the snout. I used the grass tip and grey buttercream for the fur and tip five with black buttercream for the details.

  1. I have a friend who has a b-day and loves wolfs(just like me) and me mom made it and it looks cool! Not better, but good!

  2. If you don’t have a Wilton cake pan, you can try to duplicate the wolf’s head by using a round cake pan (a double layer cake would be nice and high), trim it to shape, then use three cupcakes for jaw and ears. Just a suggestion.

  3. This cake is awesome. Today is my son’s 9th birthday and he loves wolves. He changed his mind for his birthday cake for his party tomorrow to a wolf. I told him I didn’t know if I could do it. It might be too hard. He said, “Just do your best” Ha! Thank you for submitting your cake. This will be perfect and I know he will love it. You’re a lifesaver!

  4. Could you please make a video or draw some instructions on how you made it?

I love the shape, I think it’s perfect for a Wolf head and I would love to make it, though I don’t really understand your explanation on how you made it.

Please give step by step instructions with a diagram, please. It’d be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks~~~ :)
