Work Party Cake

This was my first attempt at a birthday cake creation.... hopefully I get better. I am sonot crafty.
I used your typical cake mix (9x13) and then created the scene on top. I bought the tractor and cement mixer (on sale of course) and had a total construction party for my 2 year old who expression when he saw it brought me to tears!
I used pieces for my "boulders" and black liqourice for the roads. I found all the little signs at the local Dollar Store and I think my cake in total cost me $11.00.... so this is something that doesn't have to be extravagant, just fun and creative!
