Cool Homemade 3-Tier Minnie Mouse 2nd Birthday Cake

I had so much fun with this Minnie Mouse 2nd Birthday Cake! Each tier was 3 layers with butter cream. To make the black heads I used Wilton’s smallest flower cutter. For the ears I used a plastic tube from a ‘Smencil'(pencils from kid’s school fundraiser). Minnie’s head was made using a lollipop mold. I just pressed the colors in and made sure they didn’t run into each other. I molded her body to fit the head.

I used tooth picks to hold everything together. All the beads, ribbons, circles (on back), bows and banner are made from fondant. My black fondant looked a little green so I would recommend buying the black. I’ve made a bunch of cakes, but this is my favorite!

  1. I love the way your cake turned out. My daughter is having a first Birthday Party in January and it is going to be Minnie Mouse. I was wondering if I can hire you to make a cake for me and how much would it be?
