To create this Minion cake I made and stacked five 9″ round layers, plus I added a dome cake on top.
The cakes were placed on a board with a dowel rod in the middle and then supports were placed (large straws) in between each double layer of cake.
I crumb coated the cake with buttercream icing and then covered it in fondant.
I like to make my own marshmallow fondant because it’s super easy to color and tastier than store bought.
I made the arms and legs with Rice Krispie treats.
I also made cookies to match and added the number 3 to each.
My 3 year old loved his Minion Cake!
