I made this cake in addition to an Ariel doll cake for my daughter’s fifth birthday. I think the best part of the cake was the yummy Cool Whip frosting:
• 1 cup milk
• 1(3 1/2ounce)package instant pudding mix, any flavor
• 1/4 cup powdered sugar
• 8 ounces Cool Whip
1. Pour milk into bowl add pudding mix and sugar.
2. Beat with wire whisk for 2 minutes.
3. Gently fold in whipped topping.
The seashells are made from a candy mold using pink chocolate candy melts, and the coral was formed with the chocolate on wax paper then peeled off and placed on the cake.
It’s a fun cake to make, just remember to refrigerate!
