Bowling Madness Cake

My granddaughter was having a bowling party and wanted a cake to go along with the theme. Since we are also a little silly we wanted it to be humorous. We started with a 9X13 cake and cut it lengthwise and put the pieces end to end to form a long bowling lane.

Frosted with tan butter cream frosting and used melted chocolate to make the boards and black to make gutters. We then added the red trim. We had purchased the bowling ball and pins and candles along with a plastic bowling figure but it just wasn’t funny so we took out the Royal Icing and made our bowler going with the ball down the lane. Her friends thought it was hilarious because the bowler looked a lot like my granddaughter. She did bowl better that day than the cake predicted.
