My daughter was born on Christmas day and so without allowing her to miss out on her Christmas birthday I always celebrate her birthday too. For her fourth birthday I made a chocolate cake with one round layer and simple white icing. I also made 12 cupcakes in 3 different sizes and also frosted them with the simple white frosting. Afterwards I used 4 skewers to to form snowmen placing the skewer into the cake then placing the cupcakes biggest to smallest one, two, three onto the skewer.I did this with all four snowmen.
Afterwards I used a black icing pen to make eyes and nose and buttons and I used toothpicks for hands. After I sprinkled the cake with red and green Christmas sprinkles and added the 4 year old candle. Four snowmen for a four year old Christmas birthday..
Now looking back I could have frozen the cupcakes and then shaped them into more round balls and used different colored icing so it wouldn’t be so white. The snowmen look like they are melting but its a cute idea anyways. I may try this again sometime with my new knowledge and experience.
