Coolest Boy Scouts Cake

Our cub scout group had a cake contest and the theme needed to be “earth friendly”. This is how my Boy Scouts Cake turned out. Everything also needed to be edible on the cake.

  1. The pond is made of Blue Raspberry Jello with a gummy gator, gummy lifesaver and a teddy graham. Orange tent was made with graham crackers and frosting kept it stuck together. The trees were ice cream cones with colored frosting. The campfire was candy corns and chocolate rocks.

  2. We used this idea for the Blue and Gold Banquet and my son took first place! It turned out awesome! Thank you for the idea! We added coconut with green food coloring for some grass. We also added teddy graham bears around the fire, a bear fishing with a toothpick pole, white thread for the fishing line and a Swedish fish half in the water and half out that looked darling. We also added 2 of the teddy grahams on sleeping bags in the tent (graham cracker with orange frosting for sleeping bags with the teddy grahams on top). We used a toothpick and wrote my son’s troop number on the outside of the tent. My son made a little flag, attached it to a toothpick and put it by the tent too. It was so fun to make, thanks again!
