This Homemade Butterfly Birthday Cake was a chocolate mud cake with chocolate buttercream – bottom tier, and the top was vanilla sponge with pink buttercream. I crumb coated both tiers with buttercream and covered them with white fondant. Butterflies and flowers were made from flower modeling paste and attached to the cake with royal icing.
Everybody at the party were saying that looks like a wedding cake and I was so proud. My friend’s little girl was over the moon and I tell you what,it tasted really awesome.
