Cool Homemade Cars Birthday Cake Made With a Frozen Buttercream Transfer

This Cars Birthday Cake design was done with the frozen transfer method. You can find any design you like online, or from a coloring book. There are many sites that offer free coloring book pages to print out and these are wonderful for making childrens’ cake designs. I found this design online.

You take a piece of wax paper and tape over the image. Secure the image and wax paper to a cutting board, or another portable small hard surface, then using a #1 Wilton tip for piping, trace the complete design you want. (Remember that when you trace it and then lay it on your cake, it is going to be the opposite direction as it is now.) I used this website as a guide to get me started. It has a wealth of useful information. www.sdbytracy.com/frozbutter.htm,

I hope your cakes turn out wonderful. It really was easy to make.
