I made this Homemade Cat Cake for my mother’s birthday! Big Cat Fan! I used 10″ round cake tins for the the body of the cat and 4″ round cake tin for the head! To make the arms and legs I used fondant pieces.
The cake is a vanilla sponge with strawberry and butter cream icing middle. I made all the characters out of fondant while using Wilton gel icing colouring for the appropriate colours to dye the fondant.
The base is fondant I painted with food colouring to give the floor-board look.
