Pink Homemade Diaper Cake

We decided to make a diaper cake for our sister’s first baby. There was no theme for the shower so we decided to make it pink princess themed.

Diaper cake instructions: We began with 120 pampers Swaddlers sizes 1-2 diapers which we rolled individually and used clear rubber bands to secure them as tightly as possible. We then got a cardboard box and cut it into a 20″ radius, which we covered in aluminum foil.

Then we started to gather and stack in an upright position, until it was in a 12″ circle (bottom tier). We repeated it using 10″ circle (second tier), then 8″ circle (third tier), then 6″ circle (top tier). We tied each tier with ribbon.

After the tiers of diapers were complete, we added onesies, bottles, receiving blankets, a princess bib, and lotion and baby powder. The baby booties were taped to the foiled cardboard.

Then we finished it off with fake flowers, ribbons, etc.

We loved the way it turned out. The best part is she can use the diapers and have a wonderful centerpiece for her gift table . Hope you get plenty of ideas. Good Luck and have fun!
