Cute Homemade Buttercream Dinosaur Cake

I made this Dinosaur cake for my son’s 5th birthday. I made 2 round cakes, cut them in half and stood them upright back to back for the main body. I then freehand cut the tail from another round cake. Fairly easy to assemble, but forever to decorate.

I piped the frosting, used raisins for the eyes. I took chocolate covered graham cookies and broke them into triangles for the spikes down his back. Piped the tongue. It was a fairly simple design. Looked very cool when finished. Didn’t want to cut into it.
