I made this Dog Birthday Cake for a 12yr old’s birthday, that loved dogs. It is made out of Wilton wonder pans, 6 inch round pans and oval pans.
The front legs were cut from the 6 inch rounds and the rear legs from one oval that was cut in half. The body is made from the remaining oval and the remains of the cut 6 inch rounds.
The eyes are wiggle eyes, the nose, tongue and bone are all fondant. The ears were cut out of a cake board and the tail was made out of foil all were covered with fondant.
The flowers are made out of royal icing. The birthday girl was totally trilled. The cake was a big hit at the party.
