This is made from two 9 inch round white cakes with a buttercream filling between them. Make sure to freeze the cakes over night before any frosting is done. The icing is also white buttercream whipped with a hand mixer so it was more spreadable. I divided the icing into three parts and tinted with food coloring to make the green, dark green, blue, and yellow.

Draw the outline of the “course” on with a knife tip or toothpick and “color in the lines”. The bunker is crushed vanilla wafers and the water is outlined with sliced almonds. The “rough” is coconut tinted green with food coloring. I made the flag from a lollipop stick and paper flag and the ball is a sixlet. Dad loved his homemade father’s day golf cake!
