This garden birthday cake was made for my very first order. It was a chocolate cake made from a recipe that my grandmother passed down. The cake is very very soft. I didn’t sandwich it.
I made the well, the butterflies and the ducks a couple of days before with Marshmallow fondant and kept it in the fridge. The rest of the cake was all decorated with butter cream icing.
The flower pots were done on cup cakes which were trimmed at the bottom. Oh and my daughter came up with this brilliant idea that we should put blue M&Ms in the well. It looked really good and I heard the kids just loved it.
