This Golf Theme 30th Birthday Cake was the first cake I had made which was iced with figures. My Hubby was 30 and he loves golf and football. He also owns a fire extinguisher company so I made a fire extinguisher out of fondant icing. He used to work at a newspaper so I made a headline on white fondant icing.
I made a golf man bag trunk organizer, tees, balls, cap, golf club’s, football and a star burst with his name on it. The bottom is 8inch chocolate cake with blue and white stripes for his local football team and the top tier is a 6inch vanilla cake covered in green icing to resemble a golf green.
