I made this hamburger cake using my Bake’n Fill dome pan. The “bun” is yellow cake and the burger is chocolate. I made BC icing using the Wilton method and tinted it with some brown food coloring for the bun and the sesame seeds are almonds. The lettuce, mayo, cheese and ketchup are all BC as well. They’re just piped on.
The ketchup and mayo were done with a #10 tip, the cheese with a #3 and the lettuce with the #352. I got the chocolate icing recipe from recipezaar it used melted butter, cocoa, vanilla, powdered sugar, milk and salt. I froze some fudgefilled fudgeshoppe cookies and chopped them up for the texture of the burger.
