Coolest Horse Birthday Cake Ever

This is my first horse fondant cake. I used oval pans to make the body and did a little sculpting to shape the body and  put a thin layer of butter cream icing. I put it in fridge to set and then colored some fondant black. I covered the body and head with white fondant and rolled out black fondant very thin for spots.

I made the head out of  rice crispie treats and put thin layers of butter cream and then fondant. I used a fondant ball tool to sculpt out nose and face details. I used a clay tool to squeeze out strands or fondant for hair and it took forever. I rolled a string of fondant to go around the bottom of cake. It’s vanilla pound cake stacked and wooden dowels  pushed threw cake to support it and keep the head stable and its all covered with the fondant hair so you can’t see the sticks.
