This Hydrangea cake is a lemon poppy seed cake coated with lemon butter cream frosting. I used Wilton 2D tip to pipe the Hydrangea flowers. First piped the blue ones, and then added red color to the leftover blue frosting to create the violets. I felt that adding a third color might give a spike so I made few yellow and white flowers from little marshmallows that I had at my home. Center of the marshmallow flowers are made from different color marshmallow as well.
I covered the edge of the cake with chocolate coated almond stick biscuits that looks like bamboo fence. Finally made few leaves out of green marshmallow and put around the cake.
