I just started making cakes on the side and I did this Ladybug Baby Shower Cake for a friend’s baby shower. She wanted a ladybug themed shower, so of course I had to give her a cake that matched that. Each layer is vanilla cake with handmade pink colored buttercream icing.
The flowers and ladybugs on the cake were handmade out of fondant. I used green polka dot ribbon on each layer to dress up the bottom and tied a bow. I handmade the “banner” out of fondant as well.
It turned out really cute, and my friend loved it!
