Coolest Minnie Mouse Birthday Cake

I was bored and my niece’s birthday was a few days away so I decided to make a mini sized 8 serving piece cake to be her blow out cake (the blow out and make a wish cake. I got the idea from this website).

I already had cupcakes store bought so I covered it with chocolate icing mixed with one dot of black food coloring gel. Then placed it in the freezer. The cupcake brand I used was Drakes/

Then I made 1/4 box of store bought cake mix. I then poured the mix into the two 4 1/2 inches round pans.

While the cake was baking I made the colored frosting. Only one can of cheap white frosting was needed for the face. I took one table spoon of icing and placed it in a small zip lock bag. This would be for the white accents on the face. Then I made some pink icing (2 table spoons of white icing and 2 drops of red food coloring mixed). Then I took 3 tablespoons of white and added a teaspoon of chocolate to make the face color.

For the bow I just drew a number 8, size was as big as I could on the second 4 and 1/2 inch cake then cut it out and decorated it with pink icing.

need:

-1 can of chocolate icing

-1 can of white icing

-red food coloring

-black food coloring(or just buy dark chocolate icing)

-2 cup cakes.
