My son loves Mr. Men books. For his 5th birthday, I made these cakes using an imagine I found online. It was actually pretty simple. Mr. Tickle is an oval cake with the top and bottom trimmed, Mr. Bump is an 8″ round. Both iced with butter cream frosting. The bandages, arms, legs, mouth, hat, etc is made from fondant. Since I was running low on my half batch of fondant, I made their hands and feet flat and just cut out the shapes. You could easily make these 3 dimensional by rolling the fondant and shaping into hands and feet.
Mr. Tickles’ arms were a little tricky since they were so long. Therefore, I had to roll out about 10″ sections and connect the pieces by simply smoothing the two together.
Very easy and cute way to make a Mr. Men cake.
