For the Pregnant Belly cake I used a glass Pyrex dish. And for the breast I used 2 glass ramekin baking bowls. After baking I let them cool then crumb frosted them with homemade butter cream frosting. I placed them into the refrigerator to get a final set. Then I rolled out homemade white fondant to act as the drape for the dress.
I used my hands to smooth the fondant over the butter cream covered cake. Once I was happy with it I used a pizza cutter to shape the dress. I had one of the girls from my church cut huge zebra stripes from fondant colored with black tint. Then added a belt and straps.
The mommy loved it!! Everyone wanted to know where they had purchased it from. For this being my first real cake I was pretty impressed.
