I made this Rainbow Trout cake for my flyfishing obsessed husband. Best catch he’d had all season! I apologize in advance for the photo, my cat got hold of the fish tail before the camera did!

It’s done with chocolate cake. Freeze the cake before icing to prevent crumbling. Started with the white icing for the stomach of the fish, then the grey for the remainder. Bit of pink icing for the tail and fins. Green pebble (smartie) for the eye with a bit of white icing. Decorated with silver cachous.
