I really enjoyed making this Easter cake. The true story of what Easter is really about. The death and life of Jesus Christ. I had some difficulty making the tomb, but he guided me through. I used a white cake mix, yellow, brown, and red frosting. For the stone I used 1 of the ice cream cookies, covered it with brown frosting and rolled it from the tomb. I put a chocolate Cross for his Resurrection.
I gathered up some plants and placed them around the tomb to give it some greenery. I used a strip of white streamer paper for his veil and just ayed it over the top of the cake I then added the final touch which was the writing. I used red dye in the frosting to represent his blood and wrote Resurrection under the Cross, Life in front of the tomb, and Jesus on the bottom to represent Him.
