This Runner Birthday Cake Idea was made for my sister-in-law’s 32nd birthday. She has started running marathons this past year and has shorts she wears for every marathon that say “does my butt look fast?” on the rear. My father-in-law (with his strange sense of humor) thought it would be a good idea to have that on the cake.
The cake is chocolate with MMF in white and pink. I sketched the picture I wanted on the cake on paper and then traced it on wax paper. I laid the wax paper over the top of the cake and poked holes around the outline with a needle, making small holes in the fondant. I then used a small round tip to outline the picture in the colors I wanted. She thought it was “kinda” funny.
I love it!!! Cutest I’ve seen in a while.
