This was my first time making a cake. I made this sandals cake for my sister’s 16th birthday party. I used graham cracker crumbs for the sand. I used gummy fishes. I used Twizlers for the sandals thongs.
To make the stars and dark blue waves I printed pictures of what I wanted and put wax paper on top, and traced them with icing. I let them sit for 3 days till they hardened. I also made the cakes a day before.
The cake was sooo delicious, and it was absolutely adorable…love it, love it, love it! :D
