My son was having a hard time deciding what kind of party to have. He was turning 8 and had kind of grown out of a lot of those kid birthday themes so, we decided to come up with Indiana Jones birthday party. It was going to be a hit. I made him a Serpant Birthday Cake, we did and archeological dig for buried treasure. It was a lot of fun.
I made the cake with a bunt pan. I cut it in half then cut those pieces in half, arranged them in the order I wanted and went to town. I went to the dollar store and found a bunch of left over Halloween yucky bug candy and use them as well with the cake. It was a blast to make.
