Coolest Snake Cake

Like many on this web site, I made my Snake Cake using two bunt cakes. I cut both bunts in half and placed three of the halves together in opposite directions, then I cut the final piece in half again. I used one of those halves as the tail and the other as the face, after I trimmed them a little bit.

I connected all the pieces using frosting and after the cake was covered you couldn’t tell it was not one piece. The entertainment at my son’s part was a man who brought all kinds of snakes and reptiles. The last snake was a huge yellow and white one, so that’s what I wanted the cake to look like.

I frosted the entire cake with white frosting and used a yellow gel with sparkles for the contrast. After I frosted it I sprinkled the white parts with coconut to add some texture. The eyes were made out of chocolate chips and the tongue was out of a strip pf fruit roll up. Everyone loved the cake, most of all my son!
