This Spongebob Birthday Cake is my first experimental cake with fondant icing this cake is made of, sponge and cream and jam filled. I purchased yellow fondant icing already make so I didnt have to muck around making yellow. The legs are made of sponge rolled cake with yellow fondant wrapped around them. The shoes are fondant only as are the hands. The hands kept sliding down off the cake so a couple of tooth picks held it up. Just before the fondant went on the cake we made slight holes in the bake so Spongebob had grooves in him.
