I made this Spongebob Square Pants Cake for a school assignment last year for year eight in 2010. We were having a competition and mine won!! wow! it was really fun and easy to make.
I used a simple packet sponge cake then put it in a freezer over two nights. When I got it out of the freezer I put it on the bench and made butter icing out of icing sugar, butter and milk.
For the eyelashes and mouth I used brown mini m&m’s, and for the bubble holes I used yellow big and small m&m’s and also I used big and little (I only used little ones because I didn’t have enough big ones. Brown m&m’s for the pants. For the tshirt I used white jelly beans and for the tie I used and cut up a red snake and yellow snakes for the arms and legs. I also used white fondant for the teeth and big white marshmallows with brown m&m’s for eyes and yellow jelly beans for the nose.
