Coolest Strawberry Shortcake Cake

I made this Strawberry Shortcake cake for my godchild’s 2nd birthday. After scouring the internet for ideas I realized that most were based on the old versions of Strawberry Shortcake. In the end, I printed a picture, traced it onto parchment then transferred the image to the frosted cake using the pin prick method. I outlined with a #2 round tip and I filled the larger areas in with a #13 star tip.

The cake was enjoyed by all and I was happy I tried something new. I normally use shaped pans for character cakes!
