Coolest Superhero Birthday Cake

A friend asked me to make a Superhero birthday cake for her son’s 3rd birthday, with his favorite heroes. She showed me a picture of a cake she saw, but I changed it with my idea of how I wanted it to look. The look on her little boy’s face when he saw it said it all. I think I made his day.

The top tier was confetti, and the bottom two were vanilla, with food coloring to color coordinate them, just to make it more fun for the kids to eat. Covered in BC frosting, and MMF, then a little airbrushing with luster dust. I was glad to find the perfect candle to top it off.

  2. Hi,
I actually printed and cut out the logos, then cut it out of fondant.I had to cut the spider a little larger, and the “S” logo,a little smaller than the print, but it worked out. I then painted on the spider legs and the web. I also used a MMF that is really simple to make. I hope this helps, and good luck.

  3. This is exactly what my wife and I are looking for. My sons 3rd birthday is Sept 16 and we are throwing him a superhero party. I noticed that the pic said Ypsilanti, MI and that is where we live. Are you local and would it be to late to have you make a similar cake for his party?
